Hi everyone,

I am working on my "goal of the month".
My new blog will show concept art about some story ideas I have, very soon.
I am going to post one story idea a week and try to catch the mood, characters and over all atmosphere of
the story in digital paintings.

I have already started a "Free Painting" - site. There you can find random paintings I have made for practice.

Manhattan-E - e-bike pedelec concept

M-E is a e-bike/ pedelec concept for big citys. By keeping the proportions small and
compact, the „M-E“ is easier to handle and more flexible than a montainbike and by that an easy and stylish way to pass big city streets.
This bike gives you the ability to make it look like yours. M-Ed actually consists of two main parts, the frame and the individual colorable casing. It includes two batteries; a integrated one in the casing and a convertible batterie, which also works as a lock.

Charging Stations for e-mobility - Icon and Becon

This are the results of my latest 6th semester project. It was our task to design a charging station for electric vehicles. We cooperated with the "Fraunhofer Institut IAO" and a company called "Langmatz"My team and I decided to create a concept that garanties the most flexible usage today and tomorow. For that we designed two charging stations, which can run on a stand, on walls and especially inside walls of upcoming buildings.

Design #1 - Icon

Icon is designed to be recognized in fractional seconds just through its silhoutte. The straight, architectual head includes two conspicuous, cylindrical slots for two kinds of plugs. Small LED-Lines, around the slots, communicate the state of the charging station (ready, charging, defect). So there is no reason for a complicated and time wasting display. To activate the station, you have to identify your self with an RFID-Card in the upper corner.

Design #2 - Becon

Becon bases on the same idea like Icon, but with the main difference, to include just one slot, to be even more flexibile. By just adding one more stand, Becon is able to expend easily with more charging stations. Little stampings on the front flap, show which type of charging-plug can be used.

"ntb" Project In Cooperation With TEAMS DESIGN

The "ntb" is a new generation concept of the famous hire-able public town bike in Hamburg.
These are two different bikes;
1. A pedelec with convertible battery, tweels for more sustainability and an electric map integrated in the steering.
2. A traditional bike, designed for the sportsmanlike, is the immediate redesign of the original.
Designed in cooperation with TEAMS DESIGN

This project was very fun to do. It was created in a relative short amount of time, but the process kept going and going on very high speed. I might possibly work this concept further and bring it to another higher level one day. We will see.
Greeting to all Teams Designers in Hamburg and over the world.
